Under Sid’s stewardship, the team has established itself as a leading force, known for its competitive spirit and strong community connections. The addition of the team to USPL marks an exciting new chapter for the Blackcaps as they aim to dominate at a national level.
An avid cricket fan since childhood, the owner’s passion for the sport runs deep. His leadership has propelled the Blackcaps to success, emphasizing a culture of teamwork, dedication, and excellence.
In addition to managing the NJ Blackcaps, Sid runs multiple sports complexes in New Jersey, where he focuses on the growth of various sports such as Cricket and Pickleball. Sid operates a cricket academy in 2 locations in New Jersey where they focus on building the next talent pool for the country. Sid is a strong advocate for sports education, partnering with local organizations to promote physical fitness and teamwork. He is particularly committed to promoting cricket at the grassroots level, actively supporting local Boards of Education in introducing the game to schools. His initiatives aim to make cricket accessible to young athletes, fostering a love for the sport from an early age.
